Abstract

3-fold 1.2 Tb/s optical PDM SCFDM and OFDM superchannel multicasting by HNLF are experimentally demonstrated and compared in this paper. The OSNR penalty of the newly generated SCFDM superchannel is 0.5 dB lower than that of OFDM superchannel at the BER of 10−3.
