Infrared perfect metamaterial absorber and its potential application as strain sensor

Abstract

Here we demonstrate an infrared metamaterial structure, which can realize perfect absorption of infrared ray independent of polarizations and incidence angle. Besides, the properties of the structure used as a strain sensor are also researched.
