Silicon high-speed BPSK modulator: design and optimization

Abstract

We report 20 Gb/s binary phase shift keying (BPSK) modulation in a silicon Mach-Zehnder modulator integrated with a single-drive push-pull electrode. The device is optimized using a distributed circuit model.
