Elastic Optical Networks for Effective Content Distribution

Abstract

The paper examines several content distribution scenarios in Elastic Optical Networks (EONs). Numerical experiments are presented to verify the proposed approaches and compare EONs against classical WSONs in terms of various performance metrics including cost and spectrum.
