Photonic Assisted Broadband Instantaneous Frequency Measurement

Abstract

The instantaneous microwave frequency measurement with amplitude comparison functions is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. From the proof-of-concept experiment, the measurement error is smaller than ±150 MHz in the frequency range of 1-20 GHz.
