A Novel Virtual Network Embedding Algorithm with Load Balancing in Elastic Optical Networks

Abstract

This paper proposes a novel load balancing algorithm for virtual network embedding problem in elastic optical networks. Simulation results show the algorithm achieves a better tradeoff between balancing spectrum resource load and reducing spectrum usage.
