A Novel DD-OFDM-PON Architecture with Polarization Multiplexing and Radio Frequency up/down Conversion

Abstract

A novel DD-OFDM-PON architecture with polarization multiplexing and radio frequency up/down conversion is proposed to improve the subcarrier efficiency and data rate. Simulation results show that the proposed architecture is stable and feasible.
