A Novel Cost-Effective WDM Self-Healing Ring for FMC Access Network

Abstract

We propose a WDM self-healing ring with high reliability and low-cost architecture for converged fixed-line access and mobile backhaul applications. The high survivability and performance of transimission at 10 Gb/s per wavelength are investigated.
