Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate the impact of optical filter parameters on upstream directly modulated signal chirp management in stacked wavelength-division-multiplexed orthogonal-frequency-division-multiplexed passive-optical-network system. By optimizing the parameters of filter, the receiver sensitivity improvement can be achieved.
