High Precision Pointing and Tracking Technology for Space Optical Communication

Abstract

Space optical communications are stabilized by uplink and downlink beacon tracking system. This technology includes several servo control technology, such as point-ahead control, acquisition, pointing and tracking process. In this paper, a method of high precision pointing and tracking is build to space optical communication, and its simulation analysis shows it can achieve high precision of 2μrad.
