Thermal Ultrasensitive Sensor Based on a Polymer-coated Silica Fiber Taper Interferometer

Abstract

A high-sensitivity temperature sensor based on thermal responsive polymer coated fiber taper interferometer is presented. And the polymer improves the temperature sensitivity of structure to 44.1 nm/°C. It promises a wide application in optical sensors.
