OR and NOR Logic Operations at 10 GHz Based on Carrier-depletion Silicon Micro-ring Resonators

Abstract

We report a 10 GHz OR/NOR directed logic device consisted of two cascaded silicon micro-ring resonators whose switching scheme is realized by reverse biased PN junction embedded in the ring waveguide.
