Mode Coupling Coefficient Measurement of a Two-Mode Fiber

Abstract

We experimentally investigate the mode coupling of a two-mode fiber based on the bending method. The mode coupling coefficient between LP01 and LP11 modes of the two-mode fiber wound on a bobbin was an order of 2×10−3 km−1.
