Influence of Gamma-ray irradiation on the spectral properties of Bi-doped silica fibers

Abstract

After Bi-doped silica fiber is irradiated, its absorption peaks intensity at 520, 700, and 800 nm increase, and the fluorescence intensity at 950-1650 nm increases with 980 nm pumping, while decreases with 532 nm pumping.
