Abstract

We demonstrate the temperature-insensitive strain sensors based on stretched abrupt-tapered micro-fiber. Compare with different diameter of strain sensors. The strain sensor diameter is 2.8μm and strain sensitivity is significantly enhanced to 6.01 nm/mε by properly choosing the diameter at wavelength scale.
