A Robust and Fast Polarimeter Based on Spatial Phase Modulation of Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCoS)

We experimentally demonstrate a robust and fast polarimeter based on spatial phase modulation arising in liquid crystal on silicon (LCoS). Without any mechanical rotation, accurate characterization of various state of polarization (SOP) is achieved.
