Abstract

We propose a grating-free, simple-design cascaded Raman random fiber laser assisted by Fresnel reflection. The simulation and the experimental results confirm the effectiveness of weak reflection on lasing generation, and the linearly output with 48.8% slope efficiency is demonstrated at the 2nd order Stokes wavelength.
