Yb3+-doped Ultra-Short Pulse Fibre Laser with QPM based Nonlinearity Compensation

Abstract

An ultra-short pulse fibre laser with QPM based nonlinearity compensation is proposed. Simulation results demonstrate that nonlinearity impairment caused by third-order Kerr effect can be effectively compensated with self-defocusing of cascaded second-order nonlinear in PPLN.
