Femtosecond Inscription of Long-period and Fiber Bragg Gratings for Harsh-environment Sensors and High-Power Lasers Applications

Abstract

FBGs inscribed through polyimide coating by femtosecond laser point-by-point direct writing may serve as robust laser mirrors and sensors. Proposed slit beam shaping method for LPGs writing enables creating efficient polarization-maintaining fiber filters.
