Chaotic WDM-PON with Symmetrical Subcarrier Modulation Multiplexing

Abstract

A novel passive optical network configuration based on synchronization of WDM chaotic signals and symmetrical subcarrier modulation multiplexing is introduced. The proposed scheme can greatly improve the physical layer security and enhance the communication capacity.
