Self-Oscillating Optical Frequency Comb Generator Based on an Optoelectronic Oscillator

Abstract

A self-oscillating optical frequency comb generator based on an optoelectronic oscillator was demonstrated. We generated a nine-line optical frequency comb and a 10GHz microwave signal with phase noise of −115dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset.
