An Elastic Optical Network Node Architecture Supporting Reconfigurable Superchannel Multicasting

Abstract

We introduce a switching node architecture for elastic optical network with capability of polarization-division-multiplexing superchannel multicasting in spectrum domain. The multicasting performance and reconfigurability of the node is investigated by experiments.
