Abstract

Coherent detection of N-OTDM signal utilizing Nyquist-shaped pulses is investigated. Optimum sampling pulse-width is found to be independent with receiver bandwidth smaller than baserate. And smaller roll-off factors have slightly advantage over large roll-off factors.
