Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a cost-effective symmetric 100-Gb/s TWDM-PON based on optical duobinary for downstream and 3-level electrical duobinary modulation for upstream using 10G-class optics at both OLT and ONU, achieving >33 dB link loss budget.
