Abstract

A dual-stage SBS-based filter for high resolution optical spectrometry is proposed. By mitigating the deterioration resulted from the gain saturation and the out-of-band signal components, a spectral resolution of ~25 MHz and a sensitivity of ~−65 dBm are achieved simultaneously.
