Abstract
A convenient and compact fiber-optic sensor based on optical fiber-tips integrated with fano-resonance pillar-array photonic crystal is demonstrated. Both ultrahigh Q-factor of 1.36×104 and high sensitivity of 226nm/RIU are achieved, and thus is promising candidate for remote sensing under harsh conditions.
