Bandwidth-Flexible and Wavelength-Selective SOI Filtering Element for Flexible-Grid Applications

Abstract

We demonstrate a flexible filtering element based on an MZI-assisted 2nd order micro-racetrack on SOI. Dual channel data transmission experimental results revealed excellent performance in terms of wavelength selectivity and bandwidth flexibility.
