A Versatile Mode-locked Fiber Laser with Dynamic Patterns of Soliton Pairs

Abstract

The dynamic patterns of soliton pairs of two-pulse, second-order harmonic mode-locking and “giant pulses” in a mode-locked fiber laser due to birefringence of the EDF were obtained by just adjusting the polarization controller inside cavity.
