A Flexible Multi-band Microwave Photonic Frequency Conversion Scheme for Satellite Repeater Applications

Abstract

A novel microwave photonic repeater system of generating eight different output RF frequencies from one input RF carrier is proposed by adjusting modulators’ configurations, which can realize multi-band frequency conversion using one frequency-fixed microwave source.
