Abstract

Data-pump four-wave-mixing (FWM) phenomenon in silicon waveguide is studied and the input-to-output power transfer function (PTF) with the slope of 1.8 is measured at different wavelength intervals. The regeneration experiment is also implemented by using 12.5Gbit/s NRZ signal and the extinction ratio (ER) can be improved by 3.9dB.
