Gain and noise characteristics of dual-pump non-degenerate phase-sensitive fiber optical parametric amplifier

Abstract

The highly nonlinear photonic crystal fibers (PCFs) are used as the gain media. The bandwidth of proposed PS-FOPA reaches ~100nm. The NF of 0.2dB and the gain of 20.59dB are achieved within the telecommunication band.
