Performance of FSO systems employing hybrid PolSK-PPM-MQAM modulation over gamma-gamma channel

Abstract

A novel hybrid modulation scheme which combines polarization shift keying (PolSK) and M-ary quadrature amplitude modulation (MQAM) with pulse position modulation (PPM) is proposed in this paper. The system improves the transmission capacity and enhance resistance to atmosphere turbulence.
