Electronic Traffic Grooming in Dedicated Path Protected IP over Elastic Optical Network

Abstract

We propose different electronic traffic grooming schemes for IP over elastic optical networks with dedicated path protection. Simulation results show that the proposed approaches can significantly improve network capacity unitization and reduce the number of transponders.
