Modified Radius-directed Linear Kalman Filter for Polarization Demultiplexing of 16QAM and 64QAM Signals

Abstract

A modified radius-directed linear Kalman filter are proposed with the introduced optimal radius decision and the probabilistic error function. The improvement on convergence and tracking speed performance are confirmed for 16QAM and 64QAM signals.
