Studies on Spectral Shaping for Fiber Nonlinear Channels

Abstract

The performances of four pulse shaping schemes over long-haul fiber nonlinear channel are analyzed based on numerical simulations. Constraints from practical high-speed DAC, ADC resolution and bandwidth are also compared among different pulse shaping.
