Electromagnetic Waves of Even Rotational Indices with Electric Field Parallel to Magnetic Field

Abstract

We consider rotational electromagnetic waves by azimuthally averaging planar oscillatory waves, arising from two waves oppositely propagating in the transverse direction. The resulting even-numbered azimuthal modes are discussed in terms of interferences.
