Wireless Service Aware Latency Optimization in a Time Division Multiplexing Passive Optical Network based Mobile Fronthaul

Abstract

We propose a latency optimization method which allows efficient mapping between wireless service QCIs and ONU priorities over a TDM-PON based MFH. Low average latency can be achieved for high priority wireless services.
