Microwave Photonic Down-Conversion System with Programmable Frequency Response Utilizing Optical Frequency Comb

Abstract

A novel microwave photonic down-conversion system with programmable frequency response utilizing optical frequency comb is demonstrated. Microwave signals between 25.5-40GHz are down-converted to 0.5-15GHz while the intermediate frequency filtering can be programmable.
