Frequency Noise Measurement of Narrow-Linewidth Laser Based on an Optoelectronic Oscillator

Abstract

A novel method of frequency noise measurement of narrow-linewidth laser based on an optoelectronic oscillator is proposed and demonstrated. Theoretical analysis is presented and frequency noise measurement results of two narrow-linewidth lasers are experimentally obtained.
