Tunable 3D Integrated Hybrid Silicon Laser

Abstract

Tunable 3D integrated hybrid silicon lasers were demonstrated with side-mode suppression ratio of 43 dB, output power of 2 mW, laser linewidth of 1.5 MHz, and relative intensity noise of -132 dB/Hz.
