Efficient generation of high-order modes from all few-mode fiber lasers

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrated a switchable multi-wavelength few-mode fiber (FMF) high-order mode (HOM) laser using Sagnac interferometer, and a Q-switched all-FMF HOM laser based on saturable absorber and nonlinear polarization rotation technique.
