Abstract
We study the trapping characteristic of temporal cavity solitons (CSs) in the presence of fiber cavity drift using pulse-amplitude-modulated driving field. It is found that the CS can be trapped to specific driving field value only when the cavity drift is small enough. Furthermore, the special trapping position changes compared with the case without the cavity drift.
