Abstract

A service-classified routing, core, and spectrum assignment (SC-RCSA) is proposed to improve the spectrum efficiency in spatial division multiplexing elastic optical networks (SDM-EONs) with multicore fiber. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed algorithms.
