Abstract

A passively mode-locked fiber laser using femtosecond laser inscribed plane-by-plane 45°-tilted fiber grating is experimentally demonstrated. The generated solitons center at 1561.8 nm with bandwidth reaching 7.14 nm and pulse width of 1.1 ps.
