A Broadband Mode Converter from LP01 to LP11 Modes based on a Long-Period Fiber Grating using a Two-Mode Fiber

Abstract

We investigate a mode converter with a long-period fiber grating using a two-mode fiber. The feasibility of the mode converter with a bandwidth of 500 nm is numerically clarified for suitable fiber parameters.
