100km dynamic strain sensing via CP-ΦOTDR

Abstract

In this paper, by combining chirped-pulse ΦOTDR with co-pumping first-order distributed Raman amplification (DRA), the quantitative measurement of dynamic strain is demonstrated with 100 km sensing range and 8.2 m gauge length.
