Yb-doped Triple-Cladding Laser Fiber Fabricated by Chelate Precursor Doping Technique

Abstract

We fabricated an Yb-doped triple-cladding fiber with an aluminophosphosilicate core, F300-pump cladding and low-refractive-index fluorine-doped silica cladding. The fiber-based oscillator laser cavity presented 560W laser output at 1079.6nm with slope efficiency of 68.7%.
