Fast soliton compression in nonlinear fiber via shortcuts to adiabaticity

Abstract

Motivated by shortcuts to adiabaticity(STA), we study fast non-adiabatic soliton control in nonlinear fiber. We apply variational principle, and design nonlinearity, loss and gain inversely. Comparison with adiabatic control are made finally.
