Constructing Satellite Backbone Network via Timeslot-based Optical Switching

Abstract

We propose a satellite backbone network through the timeslot-based optical switching, which can provide high capacity and low latency. Through simulation, we analyzed two key performance indicators to contribute the optimal implementation of this architecture.
