Mode analysis for circular-side square microcavity lasers with a center hole

Abstract

We have demonstrated circular-side square microcavity lasers with a center hole to control the lasing modes. Dual-transverse-mode lasing with wavelength intervals ranging from 1 to 4.4 nm is realized experimentally for the 16μm-side-length square microlasers.
